HeatShare
Program
Every
year hundreds of families have a difficult time paying
their natural gas bills. It is especially difficult
for those on a fixed income. Making a choice between
putting food on the table, or keeping a house warm
on a cold winter night, is a decision none of us ever
want to face.
Roanoke
Gas has developed a program called HeatShare to help
out those families who demonstrate a true financial
need. In cooperation with Roanoke Gas, the HeatShare
program is administered by the Salvation Army, and
your contributions are tax deductible.
For
as little as $1.00 per month, you can make a difference
for many families in the Roanoke Valley. The donation
you make to the HeatShare program will be added to
your monthly gas bill and billed over a 12-month period.
